Course Description:

Health Internetwork provides registered institutions in developing countries free full text access to more than 3000 scientific journals. PubMed is a web interface enabling the users to search MEDLINE, the U.S. National Library of Medicine's premier bibliographic database covering the fields fo medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences. MEDLINE contains bibliographic citations and author abstracts from than 4,800 biomedical journals published in the United States and 70 other countries. Coverage is world wide, but most records are from English-language sources or have English abstracts. Participants will learn the basics and advanced techniques of searching PubMed and retrieving the full text, e.g. through HINARI, PubMed free full text filter, or PubMed Central.
